Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide electrical support for the Washington Aqueduct. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, design-build, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ), single award task order contract with a capacity of $8,000,000 and a five-year ordering period. The contractor will be responsible for providing all management, plans, supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform design, construction, retrofitting, or replacement related to electrical work throughout the Washington Aqueduct drinking water transmission system. The scope of work includes repair, renovation, and construction of new facilities, as well as electrical distribution service improvements, electrical studies, and industrial electrical equipment maintenance and replacement.
• The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be the best value to the Government considering the evaluation factors.
• The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 21 April 2025.
• Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award.
• The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 238210.
