Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for Vertical Lift Module (VLM) Maintenance Services

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a sole source contract to Southwest Solutions Group, Inc. for the maintenance and repair of Government-owned Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) located at multiple Naval installations. The contractor will provide qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on VLMs. • The contractor will perform PM and CM on all applicable Modula VLMs at NASNI, NASF, NASL, and NBVC. • The contractor will provide spare parts kits specific to each VLM model and phone support. • The contractor will provide First-Aid Training as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). • The contractor will maintain a phone system with a message center for the duration of the contract. • The contractor will ensure that all personnel are trained on the processes in their respective work areas and possess and use the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) required to accomplish their work in a safe manner.
