Trade Package - Cargo Building 626.1 - TP 0017 - Plumbing

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is seeking a design-builder firm for the construction of a core-and-shell 2-story cargo building with associated leasable office space, mezzanine, and improved sidewalk and landscaping elements. The project includes cargo warehouse space, truck docks, structural accommodations for material handling systems, office space, and parking stalls. The scope of this specific trade package (TP-0017) includes fabrication and installation of all plumbing systems. Key aspects of the project include: • Cargo warehouse space spread across two floors • 28 truck docks and 7 future truck docks • Structural accommodations for material handling systems such as an elevating transfer vehicle (ETV) • Office space with light wells and two parking stalls • Improved sidewalk and landscaping elements • Demolition of building 624 and relocation of existing infrastructure prior to occupancy The project is part of the larger West Field Area, which includes multiple cargo buildings, parking garages, additional office space, and a new hotel, aiming to establish a new consolidated office campus and cargo district at SFO.
