CSX CLEARANCE IMPROVEMENT AND SAFETY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSXT) will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 3 o’clock PM Eastern Time on September 11, 2026 for the removal of the following five abandoned overhead highway bridges (including their substructures) along two major rail corridors in New York State: (1) MP QG 26.14, Selkirk Sub, French Mills Road, Guilderland Center, Albany Co., NY (US DOT #508-697 J); (2) MP QG 28.49, Selkirk Sub, Old State Road, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY (US DOT #508-695 V); (3) MP QC 238.77, Mohawk Sub, Barnes Avenue, Utica, Oneida Co., NY (US DOT #512-660 B); (4) MP QC 255.43, Mohawk Sub, Brown Hoag Road, Rome, Oneida Co., NY (US DOT #512-558 V); and (5) MP QG 3.09, Castleton Sub, School House Road, Stuyvesant, Columbia Co., NY (US DOT #502-417 J). For a bid to be valid, CONTRACTOR must be represented at the on-site pre-bid meeting to be held August 27, 2026.
