Description
The City of Bremerton is seeking bids for the interior and exterior coating replacement of Reservoir 18, a one-million-gallon steel welded, above ground potable water reservoir. The work includes setting up and maintaining scaffolding and an environmental control system, cutting a door panel if needed, rewelding and coating the door panel, abrasive blasting to near white metal, recoating all interior and exterior surfaces, cleaning and disinfecting the interior, and site cleanup. The project also includes coating replacement on the roof of Reservoir 17 and spot coating repair to the roof of Reservoir 19.
• The reservoir dimensions are 81 feet diameter and 26 feet height.
• The project requires compliance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and Standard Specifications.
• The City is contracting with Quality Coatings Inspection and Consulting for technical inspection of the work.
• The estimated cost of the project is $830,000.
• The substantial completion date for the work is 120 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.
