Request for Qualifications for As-Needed Project Manager Services

The City of Placerville is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide professional civil engineering services in the capacity of a Project Manager on an as-needed basis for City Capital Improvement Program Projects. The selected firm should be experienced with all types of public works projects and be able to provide a variety of engineering services as determined by the City Engineer. The scope of services includes administrative support, CIP scoping and budgeting, project management, and grant application preparation. The total amount payable to the Consultant shall not exceed $2,000,000. Some key responsibilities of the Project Manager include: • Providing administrative support for the coordination, planning, and implementation of CIP projects • Assisting in CIP scoping and budgeting under the direction of the City Engineer • Meeting monthly with the City Engineer to provide project or status updates on assigned Task Orders • Preparing monthly invoices for work performed on each assigned Task Order • Preparing project-related staff reports and recommendations to the City Council • Preparing progress reports as required by local, state, or federal funding on assigned CIP projects • Participating in bid openings and reviewing bid proposals
