Description
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a vendor to provide a Building Information Model of underground utilities. The project involves scanning, modeling, mapping, data collection, and equipment to produce a reliable 3-dimensional digital twin of all identified subsurface utilities. The vendor should have the capability to provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) processes integrated into a comprehensive workflow that produces a 3D Building Information Model (BIM) model of surface and subsurface features. The contract is expected to last for 1 year. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing a 3D Building Information Model of underground utilities
• Conducting utility scans of physical geographic areas
• Producing a digital map displaying located underground utilities, obstructions, and clear to dig areas
• Complying with FDOT Procedure Topic No. 550-030-101-d, Surveying and Mapping
The ideal vendor should have experience in providing similar services and have the necessary expertise in AI processes and 3D modeling.
