OC Parks – Newport Beach Harbor Patrol Dock Maintenance

This contract is for the maintenance of the Newport Beach Harbor Patrol Dock. The contractor, Swift Slip Dock and Pier Builders, Inc., will be responsible for removing and replacing fascia angle plates, fascia pieces, rub strips, rubber corners, and 3” tips, as well as installing new pontoons and cribs to level the main walkway. The contract amount is $29,568.00 and the work is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days. The contractor will be paid based on progress payments, with the final payment being made 60 days after completion of the work. • The contract includes provisions for liquidated damages, termination, and indemnification. • The contractor is required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wage rates and apprenticeship programs. • The contract also includes provisions for changes, oral modifications, and material workmanship and acceptance. • The contractor is responsible for maintaining records and submitting payroll reports, and is subject to penalties for non-compliance with labor laws and regulations.
