Interlocal Agreement, Law Enforcement Data Sharing, City of Murphy

This contract is an interlocal agreement between the City of Murphy, Texas, and Collin County, Texas, for the sharing of law enforcement data. The agreement aims to establish a timely law enforcement inter-jurisdictional information sharing program to address critical information needed to protect residents. The City of Murphy will provide law enforcement data, including records management system, computer-aided dispatch system, arrest records, gang records, and offense reports, to the North Central Texas Fusion System via secure electronic transfer. The county will maintain the NCTFS system and database and take necessary steps to maintain the integrity and security of the information being transmitted. The agreement does not require funding, hiring of additional personnel, property acquisition, or ancillary costs to either party.
