Description
The Hernando County School Board is seeking contractors to provide HVAC services, including installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The contract will be for a firm fixed hourly labor rate and percentage mark-up on parts. The services will be required on an as-needed basis for small, anticipated, future projects district-wide. The contract will also include the purchase and delivery of HVAC equipment, parts, supplies, and accessories. The bidders are required to submit their bids by December 8, 2022, by 2:00 pm.
• The contract includes pipe welding, chiller disposal, HVAC tune-ups, and general maintenance and repairs.
• The contract also includes the installation of piping and ductwork, compressor repairs, and cooling tower repair.
• The district is seeking firm fixed percentage discounts off manufacturer's current published price list for the purchase and delivery of HVAC equipment and parts.
• The contract will be awarded to multiple vendors, with six bidders submitting bids.
