Special Conflict/Litigation Counsel Services

The Ocean County Board of Commissioners is seeking to engage firms for Special Conflict/Litigation Counsel Services. The selected firms will provide legal services on a as-needed basis to the Office of County Counsel. The contract period is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. The firms were selected through a Request for Qualifications process and were evaluated by the Ocean County Consultant Selection Review Committee. The key services to be provided under this contract include: • Special Conflict/Litigation Counsel Services • Legal representation and advice to the Office of County Counsel • Representation of the County in litigation matters • Advice on legal matters related to County operations The contract is expected to be used to support the Office of County Counsel in managing conflicts and providing legal services to the County.
