FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF SIMULATED LIVE BURN FIRE PROPS

This contract is for the furnishing and delivery of simulated live burn fire props, including a strip mall/taxpayer fire training simulator and an SUV vehicle fire training simulator. The contract was awarded to Symtech Fire LLC for a total lump sum of $501,417.00. The contract period is from September 18, 2024, to September 17, 2025. The scope of work includes the design, delivery, and installation of the fire training simulators, as well as a train-the-trainer program for instructors and a one-year standard warranty. Some key features of the strip mall/taxpayer fire training simulator include: * A 2.5 story, Class A strip mall/taxpayer fire simulator with multiple burn rooms and exterior staircases * A live-fire component with multiple fully protected burn rooms and a smoke generation system * A train-the-trainer program for instructors and a one-year standard warranty Some key features of the SUV vehicle fire training simulator include: * A mid-size SUV fire simulator with functioning doors and hood, and a simulated engine block and tire * A wireless control system with a push-button design and centralized control * A safety system with fail-safe valves and a wireless control E-stop switch The contract also includes options for upgrading the SUV fire prop to a 5-burner system with additional features such as a live fire prop, a smoke generation system, and a sound effect system.
