Contract value

$2,500,000

The contract calls for replacement of ~10,500 ft of 8‑12‑inch ductile‑iron water main, including associated fittings, supports, and service reconnections. Based on typical industry costs for ductile‑iron pipe (approximately $150‑$200 per foot for material and installation) plus ancillary work, a reasonable estimate ranges from $1.6 M to $2.2 M. Accounting for possible higher labor rates, permitting, and contingency, a ball‑park figure of about $2.5 million is a plausible contract value.
