Special Education Services

This contract is for special education services provided by Canyon State Education Solutions to the Mohave County Probation Department for the Gloria Dusek Compass School and the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Facility. The services include providing support and consulting services, auditing files, working with general education teachers, attending MET and IEP meetings, and obtaining grant funding from the Arizona Department of Education. The contract has a term of one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The compensation for the services is $600 per 8-hour day. The contract also includes requirements for insurance, confidentiality, and indemnification. • The contract requires the vendor to provide professional liability insurance with a limit of $1,000,000 per claim and $2,000,000 aggregate. • The vendor must also provide commercial general liability insurance with a limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. • The contract includes a waiver of subrogation endorsement in favor of Mohave County. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contract includes a provision for termination with 30 days' written notice. • The vendor must provide an invoice for services within 5 business days following the month the service was provided.
