Recycling & Disposal Services: Electronic Equipment

The Hernando County School Board is seeking contractors to provide recycling and disposal services for electronic equipment. The services will be provided on an as-needed basis and will include the packaging, loading, transportation, unloading, and audit trail documentation of the equipment. The contractors must provide free Gaylord containers or equivalent in advance and respond within 72 hours of notification for container pick-up and removal from the district site. The solicitation encourages the safe handling and reuse or recycling of materials from electronic equipment and cathode ray tubes (CRTs) to the maximum extent possible in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner. • The contract is for the recycling and disposal of electronic equipment, including CPU's, computer monitors, CRT's, peripheral equipment, televisions, audiovisual equipment, and other electronic equipment. • The services will be provided on an as-needed basis. • The contractors must provide free Gaylord containers or equivalent in advance. • The contractors must respond within 72 hours of notification for container pick-up and removal from the district site. • The solicitation encourages the safe handling and reuse or recycling of materials from electronic equipment and CRTs.
