Inclusive Recreation

The Inclusive Recreation Mini Grants contract is a term-based contract that provides funding to non-profit organizations to develop and enhance Inclusive Recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Ocean County. The contract has a total value of $416,103.00 and will run from August 15, 2023, to December 31, 2024, with a possible extension for up to one additional year. The five non-profit organizations that were awarded funding are The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, Inc., Bright Harbor Healthcare, Inc., Chariot Riders, Inc., RWJ Barnabas Field of Dreams, and Spreading Smiles. • The contract is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is part of the Ocean County Recovery Plan. • The non-profit organizations will enter into an agreement outlining the terms of the Inclusive Recreation Mini Grant. • The total amount of funding to be awarded shall not exceed $416,103.00. • The contract has a possible extension for up to one additional year, contingent upon the availability of funds.
