Fleet Vehicle Transportation Management, Repairs and Maintenance Service

The King County Library System (KCLS) is seeking a vendor to provide fleet vehicle transportation management, repairs, and maintenance services for their fleet of 50 vehicles. The successful vendor must be able to provide reliable and effective transportation services, perform general and preventive maintenance and routine repair services, and maintain accurate maintenance logs. The contract includes a base bid and alternates, with a total bid price of $75,000.00 for the fleet vehicle transportation management fee, and $115,158.20 for the preventative maintenance cost of service. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a wide range of services, including brake repairs, tire replacements, suspension repairs, and electrical system repairs. • The vendor must have the ability to perform all required services, and must have a shop rate of $109.00 per hour. • The contract includes a parts mark-up percentage of 98.50%. • The vendor must provide a bid bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates.
