Feather Ridge Estates Well Pump Station and Water System Improvements

The County of Butte is soliciting for a well pump station and water system improvements, including two submersible well pumps and motors, motor control center, instrumentation, electrical control panels, chlorination system/equipment, discharge piping, backup emergency generator, two 15,000 gallon water storage tanks, security fencing and gate, gravel surface, well pedestal, distribution yard piping and valves, gate valves, and blow-off valves. The water system improvements shall also include water distribution network improvements including trenching, installation of new service lines from existing asbestos cement mainlines to four occupied properties and meter boxes, and meters at each of the four properties. The contract was awarded to R&R Horn Contractors, Inc. and Myers & Sons Construction, LLC. The base bid price for R&R Horn Contractors, Inc. was $1,413,842.00, and the base bid price for Myers & Sons Construction, LLC was $1,026,600.00. • The contract includes two alternate adds: Alternate Add 1 - Propane Generator and Alternate Add 2. • The contract requires the vendors to provide a list of sub-contractors, addenda acknowledgement, surety info/bid bond, CARB certificate(s) of reported compliance for fleet, contractor license and DIR license number, non-collusion affidavit, and bidder qualification statement. • The contract is for the improvement of the Feather Ridge Estates well pump station and water system. • The contract is solicited by the County of Butte, General Services department.
