Description
The City of Punta Gorda is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to install various types of emergency equipment in police vehicles. The contract is for a period of 3 years, with an estimated annual price of $6,425.00. The contractor will be responsible for installing equipment in marked and unmarked vehicles, and will be paid based on a fixed flat fee for transportation to the police department. The contract also includes hourly rates for additional services.
• The contractor must be experienced in performing the scope of work in accordance with the specifications and meet all minimum qualification requirements.
• The contractor must provide all labor, fuel, transportation, insurance, equipment, materials, and all other incidentals to complete the scope of service.
• The contractor must deliver the vehicles to the police department within 30-60 days of completion of the installation.
• The contractor will be paid based on a net 45 payment term, with a 2% discount for early payment.
