PACKAGING OF FOOD AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS FOR RE-SALE

This contract is for the packaging of food and personal care items for re-sale to the inmate population within the County through Commissary Operations. The contractor is responsible for providing volume discounts, picking up bulk stock, and returning packaged items. The contract has a firm-fixed fee structure, with prices ranging from $0.18 to $0.35 per item. The contract term is three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. • The contractor must provide adequate stock of packing material for contracted items. • The contractor must ensure that packaging is completed and returned within 10 working days of receiving bulk stock. • The contractor must notify the County Sheriff’s Commissary Coordinator immediately in writing of any changes in contract products. • The County shall provide the contractor with bulk stock items for packaging and barcodes for packaging when applicable. • The contractor shall supply only items specified on the contract per packaging description.
