Continuing Land Surveying and Mapping Services

The City of Orlando has awarded a contract to Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corporation for continuing land surveying and mapping services. The contract includes a term of two years with a one-year option, and the vendor will provide services such as topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction layout. The contract also includes provisions for payment, insurance, and termination. The key services to be provided include: • Topographic Surveys: Horizontal and vertical spatial relation of natural and manmade features • Boundary Surveys: Perimeters of parcels for locations, platting or dividing • Construction Layout: Horizontal and vertical measurements for construction • Control Surveys: Horizontal and vertical positions for support of subordinate surveys or mapping • Hydrographic Surveys: Mapping related to bodies of water • Land Platting: Preparing Subdivision Plats as provided in Chapter 177 F.S. • Mean High Water Line Surveys: Chapter 177 F.S. Part II Survey • Quantity Surveys: Measurements to determine material quantities • Special Purpose Surveys or Miscellaneous Services: A specific purpose not defined by any other type • Expert Witness: Advice, assistance and possible court and administrative hearing appearance(s) regarding legal matters
