ANNUAL PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR BUILDING DEMOLITION SERVICES

The City of Palm Bay is seeking pre-qualification packets from contractors for building demolition services. The contractors must be authorized to do business in the City or County where they maintain an office and must have a certified general contractor, certified building contractor license, or excavating contractor certificate of competency. The pre-qualification packets were due on April 30, 2013, and the opening was held on May 1, 2013. The following companies submitted pre-qualification packets and were qualified: Brevard Excavating & Landclearing Inc, Chin Diesel, Inc, Cross Environmental Services, Don Bell Inc dba DBI Demolition, Frank-Lin Excavating Inc, Ken Farrington Tractor & Landclearing, Santa Cruz Construction, and TSI Disaster Recovery, LLC. • The contractors must have a current Business Tax Receipt. • The contractors must have a certified general contractor, certified building contractor license, or excavating contractor certificate of competency. • The City of Palm Bay is responsible for updating the licensing requirements for this type of work. • The pre-qualification packets were due on April 30, 2013. • The opening was held on May 1, 2013.
