Description
The City of Olathe, Kansas, is seeking a vendor to provide security services for the Municipal Court premises. The successful vendor will provide a minimum of two armed security personnel to be present daily from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding City-observed holidays. The security personnel will be stationed at the existing security checkpoint at the entrance to the court building and will focus on screening for weapons or other dangerous objects brought into the court building.
• The security checkpoint is equipped with a walk-through metal detector and an X-ray inspection system.
• The awarded vendor shall perform the covered services under the terms of this agreement.
• City Staff, including but not limited to the Court Administrator, shall retain managerial authority over all contracted personnel.
• The successful vendor will provide training for operating equipment.
• The contract was initially posted as RFP #19-0142 but was cancelled and reposted as RFP #20-0180.
