Parking Meter Data Management Services & Back-Office Services

The City of Orlando has entered into a contract with IPS Group, Inc. for parking meter data management services and back-office services. The contract includes the supply of a full DMS for all single space parking meters and vehicle detection sensors, as well as service of the DMS system, including routine maintenance. The contract also includes monthly fees for the use and management of IPS single space parking meters with credit card acceptance and the IPS DMS. The key aspects of this contract include: • Supply and service of DMS for single space parking meters and vehicle detection sensors • Monthly fees for the use and management of IPS single space parking meters with credit card acceptance and the IPS DMS • Service of the DMS system, including routine maintenance • Provision of software updates to keep the DMS current and bug-free • Technology support to the parking department when needed The contract has a term of 7 years, with an option to extend for additional one-year increments. The contract also includes provisions for dispute resolution, termination, and indemnification.
