On-Call Sign Language Services

This contract establishes an on‑call sign‑language interpreting service for Sedgwick County, covering American Sign Language, tactile sign language, and video remote interpreting (VRI) across multiple county departments. The County selected three vendors to provide in‑person and remote interpretation on a 3‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions. Vendors must meet RID and Kansas certification requirements, respond to standard requests within 48 hours and emergency requests within 2 hours, and adhere to detailed hourly and per‑minute rate schedules, including travel reimbursement and cancellation policies. The award is structured as an IDIQ/on‑call arrangement, allowing the County to call any of the three firms as needs arise.
