Medical Laboratory Services

The Multnomah County Health Department (MCHD) is seeking a supplier to provide medical laboratory services that fall outside the scope of internal services at the MCHD laboratory. The supplier will provide laboratory testing services, laboratory consultation services, and reporting. The contract will be for a negotiated term and will be dependent on the product and/or services provided. The MCHD has a budget of approximately $307,015,929 per year, and the contract award will be based on the most advantageous proposal to the County. • The contract includes services such as medical laboratory testing, laboratory consultation services, and reporting. • The supplier must have an established quality assurance program and be enrolled in an approved proficiency testing program. • The supplier must provide proactive notifications of test delays and recalls, and work with the County on continuous quality improvement efforts. • The contract includes a requirement for the supplier to comply with all requirements of the County's standard Business Associate Agreement (BAA) without modification.
