Consultant Services - Leesburg International (LEE) Airport Master Plan Update

The City of Leesburg is seeking a consultant to provide professional services for the Airport Master Plan Update at the Leesburg International Airport. The selected vendor, Avcon, Inc., will provide these services for an amount not to exceed $390,718.00. The project is contingent upon the FAA approving the City's grant application, which is due July 1, 2016. The scope of work includes preparing an Airport Master Plan Update, which is necessary for applying for grants on future projects at the Airport. The funding for the project will be divided among the FAA (90%), FDOT (8%), and the City (2%). • The project is budgeted in the current budget. • The City received two sealed responses to the Request for Qualification. • The evaluation committee ranked Avcon, Inc. as the top firm. • The fee proposal from Avcon, Inc. falls within 10% of the Independent Fee Estimate (IFE) amount. • The City can now proceed with the FAA grant application.
