Print Management

The School Board of Charlotte County, Florida, issued an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for a Print Management contract to reduce overall print costs, improve reliability of copiers and printers, and provide visibility to reduce usage. The contract was awarded to four vendors: Dex Imaging, Inc., J.M. Todd, Inc., Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A Inc., and LeXDirect, LLC. The contract term is 5 years with two 1-year options. The annual estimate for the contract is $250,000. • The contract includes the purchase of new copiers, printers, and associated parts and services. • The contract also includes preventive maintenance and repairs for existing and new copiers and printers. • The vendors were selected based on their proposals and evaluation criteria set forth in the ITN. • The contract is expected to reduce overall print costs and improve reliability of copiers and printers. • The contract provides visibility to reduce usage and select the lowest machine to make copies.
