On-Call Emergency, Facility and Utility and Infrastructure Construction & Repair

The City of Ridgefield has awarded a contract to Halme Excavating, Inc. for on-call emergency, facility, and utility and infrastructure construction and repair services. The contract has a term of 3 years, with an option to renew, and a total budget of $300,000. The contractor will provide all equipment, labor, cleanup, parts, and supplies needed to complete the specified work. The City will issue task orders on an as-needed basis, and the contractor will perform the work at the rates provided in their bid proposal. • The contract includes a provision for the contractor to provide repair services on an as-needed basis at hourly rates, with an individual contract value not to exceed $50,000. • The City reserves the right to sub-contract as necessary to best serve the needs of the City for any portion of the contracted work. • The contract was amended on May 2, 2024, to extend the contract term to May 31, 2025.
