FY27 Snow and Ice Management Contract

This three‑year contract provides comprehensive snow and ice management services for Grand Valley State University’s Allendale campus. The scope includes 24‑hour coverage, stake placement and removal, priority‑based plowing of designated parking lots, special‑request plowing with rapid response, strict environmental and safety requirements, and post‑season repair of any campus damage caused by the work. The vendor must submit rates per push, hourly equipment rates, and a cost for special‑request events, and the university retains the right to negotiate, request additional information, and extend the contract for up to two additional one‑year periods based on performance. • 24‑hour snow‑plow and de‑icing service covering ~3.9 million sq ft (lots P & D) • Detailed priority lists (Level 1 by 7:30 am, Level 2 by 12:00 pm) and rapid‑response special‑request plowing (48‑hour notice, 8‑hour completion) • Mandatory post‑season restoration of turf, concrete, signage, and landscaping by May 15 each year, with invoicing on a bi‑weekly or monthly basis.
