On-Call Landscaping

The Olathe Public Schools USD 233 is soliciting bids for On-Call Landscaping services, which may include landscape maintenance, construction, and restoration services at locations across the district. The contract will be awarded to one or more vendors based on the best interests of the district. The scope of work includes mowing, bed cleanup, bed planting, shrub trimming, and other landscaping services. The district is looking for vendors with at least three years of experience in providing commercial landscaping services. • The contract will be awarded on an item-by-item basis or by the total cost. • The district reserves the right to make awards to the next low bidder if a significant savings cannot be made by making an award to the low bidder. • The contract will be subject to approval by the District Board of Education. • The district is comprised of more than 6 million square feet of inhabited building space and 1400 acres of green space. • The district intends to provide esthetically pleasing landscaping that meets industry standards and best practices for the students, staff, and patrons.
