Household Hazardous Waste Program Services: Product Reuse, Universal Waste, Labor, Transportation, Recycling and Disposal

The County of San Mateo is seeking a hazardous waste contractor to provide Household Hazardous Waste and related programs services, including safety and compliance, waste management and transportation, and recycling and disposal. The contract has a not to exceed amount of $700,000. The scope of work includes product reuse, universal waste, labor, transportation, recycling, and disposal. The contractor will be required to provide services in accordance with the State CalRecycle hierarchy of waste management and consistent with County waste management preferences. Key services include: • Household Hazardous Waste collection and transportation • Universal waste management and disposal • Labor and equipment provision for waste management and transportation • Recycling and disposal of hazardous waste • Compliance with State and County regulations
