Horse Stable Operations (Rocky River Reservation)

This contract is for the operation of Rocky River Stables, which includes an indoor arena, instructor's office, heated viewing room, tack rooms, wash racks, feed storage, storage room, offices, tool room, employee’s apartment, lounge, restrooms, and three outdoor training rings. The contract was awarded to Valley Riding, Inc. for a three-year period from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022, with the option to extend for up to three additional years. The total three-year remittance to Cleveland Metroparks is $7,950, and the total capital investments are $8,000. • The contract includes the operation of the stables, including therapeutic riding programs, English horseback style riding lessons, horse shows, and special events/tours. • The vendor is required to make annual remittances to Cleveland Metroparks. • The contract has an option to renew for up to three additional years. • The vendor is responsible for the management of the stables, including the maintenance of the facilities and equipment.
