Professional Planning Services

This contract is for professional planning services to be provided by GAI Consultants, Inc. to Orange County, Florida. The contract has a term of three years, from September 1, 2022, to August 31, 2025, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The total amount to be paid by the COUNTY under this Contract for the base period is $814,500, which was later increased to $1,005,090 through an amendment. The CONTRACTOR will provide services in accordance with the Scope of Services detailed in Exhibit “A”. The COUNTY'S representative/liaison during the performance of this Contract is Alberto Vargas. Some key points of the contract include: • The CONTRACTOR will provide professional planning services as specified in the contract. • The CONTRACTOR will commence services on September 1, 2022, and complete all services by August 31, 2025. • The contract may be renewed for two additional one-year periods upon mutual written agreement. • The CONTRACTOR will be paid a total amount not to exceed $1,005,090 for the base period. • The CONTRACTOR will maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, business automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The CONTRACTOR will comply with all applicable federal and state laws, municipal and county ordinances. • The CONTRACTOR will provide written documentation evidencing actual dollars paid to all sub-consultants utilized by the CONTRACTOR on the project.
