005.20.B3 Energy Management Controls, Installation, Monitoring Maintenance and Repair Service

This contract is for energy management control services, including installation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair, for the Building Services department at facilities within the Howard County Public School System. The contract was awarded to two vendors, Electrical Automation Services, Inc. and Johnson Controls, for a period of one year with the option to renew for five additional one-year terms. The estimated annual amount for each vendor is $250,000 and $500,000, respectively. The services will be funded from the FY2020 Operating Budget, Repair of Buildings Program #7602. • The contract includes a list of worker classifications with corresponding hourly rates and overtime rates for each vendor. • The contract has a total estimated value of $750,000. • The contract is subject to renewal for up to five additional one-year terms. • The contract is funded from the FY2020 Operating Budget. • The services provided under this contract include installation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of energy management control systems.
