The City of Wilmington is seeking qualified contractors to remove existing split‑heat‑pump HVAC units at three municipal facilities and install new Trane (or approved equivalent) heat‑pump units meeting SEER 16 or SEER 18 standards. The scope includes disconnecting and reclaiming refrigerant, disposing of old equipment, installing new units with required drain pans, aluminum‑jacketed refrigeration piping, insulation tubing, I‑Wave equipment, TAB reporting, permitting, and owner training.
