SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) Owner-Occupied Rehab Project Delivery/Construction Management Services

This contract is for the provision of construction management services for the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) Owner-Occupied Rehab Project. The vendor, Guardian Community Resource Management, Inc, will provide services including initial observation, scope of work writing, coordination of construction activities, and oversight of payment requests. The contract has a duration of 6 weeks and a total payment limit of $49,999.99. The vendor will be paid on a monthly basis based on the completion of tasks and deliverables. • The contract includes a scope of work that outlines the tasks to be completed by the vendor, including establishing a program contractor roster, initial observation of housing units, scope of work writing, and oversight of construction activities. • The vendor will be paid a maximum of 3% of the per project housing rehab award for each completed task. • The contract includes provisions for changes to the scope of work, payment terms, and termination. • The vendor is required to maintain professional liability insurance and provide proof of insurance to the county. • The contract is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and any disputes will be litigated in the appropriate court in Hernando County, Florida.
