WHEEL ELECTRIC GOLF CARTS

The City of Mobile is leasing 80 four‑wheel electric golf carts for a three‑year term. The lease is paid monthly at $68.78 per cart, with the first payment due no earlier than December 2017 and subsequent payments due on the 15th of each month. The vendor must supply the carts, chargers, accessories, and related equipment, remove old chargers, provide warranties, an amortization schedule, and meet detailed technical specifications (48 V motor, steel/aluminum frame, safety brakes, accessories, etc.). Bids were sealed, “all‑or‑none,” with a 5 % bid bond required, and the contract includes a 20‑day early‑payment discount clause. Delivery must occur between December 2017 and January 1 2018.
