LED Street Light Replacement – Phases 2, 3, & 4

The City of Allentown is seeking a contractor to replace existing High Pressure Sodium (HPS) luminaires with Light Emitting Diode (LED) luminaires on various existing poles and davit arms throughout the city. The contract includes the removal and disposal of existing luminaires, as well as the installation of new LED luminaires and related incidental costs. The contract also includes the removal and replacement of davit arms, electrical power cables, and fuses as needed. The contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste materials at no additional expense to the city. • The contract includes the replacement of 4,300 HPS luminaires with LED luminaires. • The contractor will also remove and replace davit arms, electrical power cables, and fuses as needed. • The contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste materials at no additional expense to the city. • The contract includes the testing, removal, and transportation of 100 functioning HPS luminaires to the City of Allentown storage area.
