Tires & Tubes and Removal of Scrap Tires

The City of Olathe issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for tires and tubes, as well as the removal of scrap tires. The bid was rejected due to changes in part numbers and the need for further research on newer technological developments in tires. A new bid with revised specifications will be issued at a later date. The scope of work includes providing tires and tubes for the City's Vehicle Maintenance Department and removing and disposing of used tires. • The City requires manufacturer's name, model number, product number, and complete descriptive literature and specifications for each tire bid. • The City intends to contract with a vendor(s) for the removal and disposal of used tires. • The bid includes various types of tires, such as 255-70-r22.5, 315-80-22.5, and 425-65-22.5. • The City has a Vehicle Maintenance Department that requires tires and tubes.
