AU - Campus Transit Services

The contract is for the provision of transit bus services for the Augusta University campus. The selected vendor will establish and maintain a comprehensive and turn-key transit operation, including buses, bus operators, transit management, DOT compliance, and a maintenance program for a fleet of eight cutaway buses. The contract has an estimated value of $2,000,000. The vendor is expected to provide daily service out of a bus yard located on the Augusta University Health Sciences campus. The contract term is from the date of award until the end of the State’s current fiscal year, with four one-year options to renew. • The contract includes requirements for insurance, sales and use tax compliance, and other standard terms and conditions. • The vendor must comply with the State Entity's instructions for mailing and receiving certain forms. • The contract includes a notice of intent to award, which is not a binding commitment by the State. • The contract has a provision for the State Entity to extend the contract for a period of time necessary to permit the State Entity’s continued supply of the identified products and/or services.
