Liability Insurance Broker Services

The Northwest Fire District is seeking a contractor to provide Liability Insurance Broker Services. The contractor will be responsible for negotiating with insurers, preparing insurance coverage specifications, and providing recommendations to the District. The contract includes a scope of work that outlines the specific services to be provided, including negotiating with current insurers, preparing insurance coverage specifications, and providing written interpretation of market quote analysis. The District holds separate policies for Liability Insurance, Cyber Security Insurance, and Nurse Practitioner Liability. The contractor will be required to provide a high level of service for day-to-day contact on insurance matters, including loss control. The key points of this contract are: • The contractor will negotiate with current insurers for improvements to coverage and pricing. • The contractor will prepare insurance coverage specifications and marketing plans prior to expiration of current policy or at the request of the District. • The contractor will provide written interpretation of market quote analysis and make recommendations to the District for final insurance selection. • The contractor will provide a policy summary spreadsheet of all policies, including carriers, premium, policy term, policy numbers, deductibles, and annual premium. • The contractor will maintain a copy of all policies of the client and provide separate copies of all policies in one concise binder with coverage tabs for each policy.
