Litter Control Services for Rights-of-Way and Town Parks

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking a contractor to provide litter control services for its rights-of-way and town parks. The contractor will be responsible for picking up litter and debris, servicing dog waste receptacles, and performing other related tasks. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The town received three bids, and SFM Services, Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive bidder. The contract will be for an amount not to exceed budgeted funds for these services. • The contractor must have at least three years of experience performing litter control services, with at least one year of local or county government experience. • The contractor must provide two verifiable client references demonstrating completion of at least two contracts, one reference being from a local or county government entity, for services of similar scope and value performed within the last three years. • The contractor must possess a general haulers permit and/or any other permit or license required by Miami-Dade County to perform these services.
