Airport Enhancement Project

The Airport Enhancement Project includes work for constructing access roadway and parking lot, parking lot lighting, landscaping, signage improvements, fuel farm roadway loop and containment system, fuel farm reconfiguration, emergency ramp access, security fencing and gate, beacon light painting, and roadway striping. The contract was awarded to R.T. Schneider Construction Co., Ltd. with a total recommended award of $3,341,496.95. The project has multiple parts, including roadway and parking phases, electrical lighting, landscaping, and fencing and gates. • The contract has multiple addendums, including Addendum #1, Addendum #2, Addendum #3, and Addendum #4. • The project has a bid bond requirement of 5%. • The contract has a bond requirement affidavit and credit check authorization. • The project has multiple alternates, including Add Alternate A: Fuel Farm Depot Improv, Add Alternate B: Existing East & West Entrance Feature Improv, and others.
