Orange County Jail Ministry

This contract is for the provision of faith-based services to the inmate population at the Orange County Corrections Department. The services include providing a minimum of two full-time qualified human service representatives, in-cell programs for English and Spanish speaking inmates, faith-based education and services, counseling, family contact in times of crisis, death notification, and assisting with funeral arrangements. The contract also requires the vendor to maintain a list of active volunteers, their contact information, and their activities in the jail. The vendor must also cooperate with the COUNTY in the event of a failure to adequately perform the services funded by the COUNTY. The contract has a term of four years, with the option to renew for an additional three years. The total amount to be paid by the COUNTY under this contract is $90,000.
