LOCK BOX SERVICES

The City of Palm Bay, Florida is seeking proposals for a Lockbox Service Provider to be utilized by the Finance Department. The lockbox services will be used to process payments for water and sewer customers, as well as sanitation and storm water utility services. The contract was awarded to Bill2Pay, an Intuition Systems Co., for $57,030.00. Key aspects of the contract include: • The lockbox services will be used to process payments for 30,800 water and sewer customers on a monthly basis in four cycles. • The services will also be used to process payments for 41,200 accounts that do not have water and sewer service through the City, who will receive a quarterly bill for sanitation and/or storm water utility services. • The contract was awarded on December 2, 2010, during the Regular Council Meeting No. 2010-35. • The City of Palm Bay published the RFP and accepted proposals for the Lock Box Services.
