Description
The City of Independence, Missouri, Water Department is seeking bids for the provision of (8) pH monitoring sensors and accessories. The contract includes the supply of local transmitters/displays for pH readings, wall universal brackets to attach to basin handrails, and additional cable/wire to connect the transmitter to a PLC. The contract is for equipment only. The city reserves the right to provide questions and answers to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum to the ITB.
• The contract includes the supply of (8) digital pH sensors (0-14) and (8) local transmitters/displays for pH readings.
• The transmitters must be able to display local reading as well as have the capability to send a 4/20 signal to a local PLC to readout via SCADA.
• The contract includes the supply of (8) wall universal brackets to attach to basin handrails and additional cable/wire to connect the transmitter to a PLC.
• The city reserves the right to provide questions and answers to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum to the ITB.
• The deadline for questions is September 30, 2022.
• Paper, fax, or email responses will not be accepted, nor will they be returned to the bidder.
• There will be a virtual bid opening for this project.
