Description
The Columbus City Schools solicited bids for the transportation of foster care students and/or those experiencing homelessness. The bid was for an all-or-nothing contract, with no guarantee of minimum or maximum hours. The deadline for submission of vendor questions was October 19, 2022, and the bid was retracted after the due date and was not awarded.
• The bid was for the transportation of ambulatory and special needs/non-ambulatory students.
• The contract was to be awarded to a single vendor.
• The Columbus City Schools has an Outreach Program to increase participation of businesses designated as Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE).
• Vendors were strongly encouraged to use a good faith effort to support the BOE in achieving the District's LEDE participation goals.
