Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide A&E On-Call Structure Construction Engineering and Inspection services. The selected firm will provide consultation, research, professional, technical, and field services required for structure construction engineering and inspection, including construction contract administration services. The scope of work includes performing construction engineering and inspection, general contract administration, preparing and administering contract change orders, providing engineering support to resolve construction potential claims, and preparing final construction estimates and reports. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis to support the Department of Transportation's Division of Engineering Services, Structure Construction, District 59, on project development phase 3 for the construction of proposed Caltrans transportation facility projects in Districts 8 and 9.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• The estimated contract amount is $19,102,348 - $31,041,315.
• The estimated contract term is three years.
• The work shall be performed on projects to improve the State transportation system throughout the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono, Inyo, and East Kern in California within the limits of Districts 8 and 9.
• The Consultant shall provide Structure Construction Engineering and Inspection Services within the geographical jurisdiction of the Contract.
• The Consultant shall assure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes, laws, codes, regulations, policies, procedures, ordinances, standards, specifications, performance standards, and guidelines applicable to the Consultant's services and work product.
