The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is conducting market research via an RFI to gauge industry capability for a potential five‑year, $480 million Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) contract that would provide full‑service food support to U.S. military and other federal customers across the Hawaiian Islands, covering roughly 50 land‑based and ship‑based locations. Vendors are asked to comment on their ability to source, consolidate, warehouse, transport, and manage food items in compliance with the Berry Amendment and Cargo Preference Act, as well as handle surge requirements, emergency deliveries, and potential storage of government‑furnished material.
